great location but noisy neighbors
The location provided an very nice city view, just a short walk from the Old Town. The breakfast spread was good and tailored to our preferences. The room featured beautiful decor and was well-maintained, with a true sense of luxury.
I found it hard to get a good night's sleep due to some noise from neighboring rooms.

Special stay, as always. Chic hotel, overall clean, lovely breakfast, incredible location in an authentic Porto neighbourhood. A safe box, central heating and coffee/tea making machines in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. Magnificent views of the old town all around. I truly enjoyed genuinely helpful and very amiable employees!
I was upgraded to a well-equipped room in addition to the bedroom. The breakfast with hams, juice plus croissants was great for what you got. The service was all in all exceptional.

Charming common areas that create a cute atmosphere.
The shower controls were perplexing and challenging to operate. I also noticed that some parts of the bathroom appeared run down, such as a door that didn't shut properly. One of the drawers was difficult to open.

The atmosphere at casa do cativo is amazing, and the small private pool in the back is a fantastic spot to unwind. We loved grabbing a bottle of wine and desserts to enjoy there after dinner. Margarida made our mornings special with a beautiful and delicious breakfast, ready early for our excursions. The location is also super close to the bridge.
